They graciously opened the area for us to learn about the paso fino horse and their importance to Colombia while watching an exhibition of the horses. Then, they took us to a wonderful beach restaurant area where we were able to ride the horses for a considerable amount of time. The activity is completely doable even if you have no experience riding horses (like us). The horses appeared to be well cared for and healthy, and the ride was smooth. “Loved everything about the tour! I would definitely say horseback riding is not very accurate as its donkeys but it was very enjoyable and fun. The donkeys were well behaved and easy to manage. Our tour guide was awesome and very thorough with the history and details of coffee. The lunch served in the plantain lead was delicious but would’ve been better if it was served a bit more warm. We didn’t learn too much about the panela/sugar cane but they served it with lime and it was a refreshing drink (served once you reach the cafe, after picking beans, and with lunch).
